As a brand new event planning company, we are dedicated to crafting seamless and magical moments that exceed expectations.
We are currently seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Director of Sales and Wedding/Event Coordination.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
For the sales aspect of the job, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new, local business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and effectively closing deals.
As a Wedding and Events Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the perfect wedding day for our clients.
You will work closely with couples to understand their vision and preferences, and then meticulously plan and execute every aspect of their special day.
From venue selection and vendor coordination to timeline management and on-site supervision, you will ensure that every detail is flawlessly executed, allowing our clients to relax and enjoy their celebration.
Responsibilities: * Collaborate with couples to understand their wedding vision, preferences, and budget constraints.
* Research and recommend suitable venues, vendors, and service providers based on client preferences.
* Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with venues and vendors to secure the best services at competitive rates.
* Create comprehensive wedding timelines and schedules, ensuring that all elements are coordinated and executed seamlessly.
* Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the planning process, offering creative solutions and troubleshooting as needed.
* Work with colleagues to oversee all logistical aspects of the wedding day, including setup, décor, transportation, and guest management.
* Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, guests, and venue staff on the wedding day, ensuring smooth communication and addressing any issues that may arise.
* Maintain meticulous records and documentation related to each wedding project, including budgets, contracts, and client communications.
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans in the local La Crosse, WI market to achieve company goals and objectives.
* Identify and pursue new local business opportunities in La Crosse through proactive prospecting and lead generation.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Experience: * Previous experience in wedding planning, event coordination, or hospitality management is highly desirable.
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients, vendors, and team members.
* Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
* Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and event planning software (e.
g.
