*Job description*
Alliant Castings is looking for a fulltime Accounting Office Clerk / Bookkeeper to perform daily accounting and admin duties Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm.
These tasks will support our financial and office team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; posting invoices, 3-way match, AP, ACH payments, AR, filing paperwork, entering customer orders, office inventory counts, answering the door and phones.
Direct report to the Business Manager.
*Responsibilities / Required Skills*
* Answer phones, door, greet vendors and customers
* Enter customer orders
* Inventory and stock office supplies
* Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
* Process reimbursement / credit forms
* Enter financial transactions into internal databases - QuickBooks knowledge is a must
* Maintain digital and physical financial records
* Assist in preparing ‘End of the Year’ documents
* Perform ‘3-way Match’
* Verify internal purchase orders for accuracy

* Work experience as an Accounting Assistant, Accounting Clerk or Accounting Bookkeeper
* Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
* Familiarity with finance regulations
* Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
* Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.
g.
QuickBooks)
* Organization skills
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
* Experience with ACH and or electronic payments
* Must be able to multitask and be an independent thinker

00 per hour depending on skills, education and previous experience.
