How will you make an impact?
Staff Accountants work closely with managers and partners to help support our clients and assist in tax preparation for our clients, both individual and business.
Some of the primary responsibilities include:
Prepare business (including 1120, 1120S and 1065) and individual income tax returns to satisfy compliance requirements and support effective business planning
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements to enable effective, timely and informed decision-making
Establish and maintain effective client relationships through regular communications, including on-site visits
Conduct tax research and convey information to clients
Complete work that is accurate and organized in a timely manner
Follow regulations and professional ethics of the AICPA and the WICPA
Stay current on all professional pronouncements.
Participate in continuing professional education
Accept and seek out additional responsibility
Represent the firm and promote its image at a variety of events including, but not limited to: networking events, vendor conferences, client events and at college career fairs
Meet billable hour expectations
Protects all confidential information obtained on the job by safeguarding it when in use, filing it properly when not in use, disposing of it properly and discuss it only with those who have a legitimate business need to know

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Eligibility or currently pursuing CPA certification preferred
Demonstrates the following skills: analytical, problem solving, organization and interpersonal
Ability to prioritize multiple projects
Excellent attention to detail, quality and timely completion of work
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other various accounting software including CCH, Creative Solutions and research tools
