*Duties & Responsibilities*
The Accounting Team is seeking an Accounting Associate who wants variety in their day-to-day activities and is willing to assist in all areas of the department.
* Assist payroll department daily with employee timecards
* Match vendor packing slips to invoices
* Fact-check vendor invoices for processing and payment
* Assist in customer billing process
* Help Accounts Receivable code incoming checks and prepare deposits
* Recognize and post Work in Process on completed jobs
* Assist in month end closing process
* Various projects or duties as assigned
*Education/Experience*
* High School Diploma Required
* Associate or Bachelor’s Degree is not required, but preferred
* 2-3 years of related accounting experience preferred
*Qualifications*
* Good accounting basics
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Detail oriented
* Team player
* Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
* Excellent time management skills
* Inquisitive mind, not afraid to question the information given to them
* Quickbooks, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central experience a plus
