Job Summary Are you a detail-oriented individual with experience in bookkeeping and a passion for supporting a growing team? Three Rivers Technologies is seeking a skilled Bookkeeping/HR Specialist to manage our financial records and assist with core HR functions.
This role offers a unique opportunity to wear two hats, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems and providing vital support to our team.
Responsibilities: * Bookkeeping: * Manage multi-state payroll processes.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
* Handle all accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
* Process bank deposits, transfers, and reconciliations.
* Generate financial reports for management review.
* Compile annual tax information and collaborate with a designated accountant.
* Manage corporate insurance policies.
* Administer the company's 401(k) plan.
* Human Resources: * Assist with new hire onboarding paperwork.
* Verify new hire credentials.
* Assist with processing benefits applications.
* Support the administration of employee benefit programs.
Qualifications: * High school diploma, GED, or equivalent * Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
* Proven proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office software * Excellent understanding of accounting principles (accounts payable/receivable, payroll, etc.
).
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly.
* Prior HR experience (a plus).
