Job Summary：
The Accountant III position is part of the Finance Sales Compensation Organization.
This position is responsible for calculating, analyzing and validating commission and incentive data while also maintaining coordination with IT Technical and Business Operation support commission teams.
Responsibilities include managing large and small projects with focus on productivity and process improvement, providing commission expense analytics by revenue stream, calculating miscellaneous commissions and incentive components, preparing month end close journals and account reconciliations, supporting acquisitions and system deployments, and providing additional analysis as needed within cross functional groups Record to Report, North America HR, Finance and local office personnel.

Responsibilities:
Lead revenue stream based analytics and communicate commission expense fluctuations
Participate on Compensation Operations team for successful management of the My Comp Calculator application and related processes.
Validate commission and incentive results from My Comp Calculator; identify issues and determine solutions
Manage large and small projects with focus on productivity and operational excellence.
Create and document standard workflow processes
Assist with the implementation of My Comp Calculator within other Trane Sectors, Regions and Office Acquisitions
Analyze, understand, and communicate journal entries, commission and incentive plans and processes assigned to this role
Demonstrate strong analytical skills
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree accounting, finance or closely related field required with 5-8 years experience working in a finance-related field.
Preferred Training: Project Management, Analytics Experience
High level of proficiency in MS Office products, Oracle GL, PeopleSoft and Essbase retrieves.
Knowledge of CallidusCloud and Alteryx preferred.
