Explore why La Crosse is a great place to live and work! Job Description: The Treasury Analyst serves as a subject matter expert for cash, investments and debt-related transactions including managing daily cash.
This position ensures proper and timely completion of a variety of treasury related tasks including transaction execution, accounting entries, analysis and reporting.
This role assists management with special projects as assigned.
Major Responsibilities 1.
Ensure that cash and investment accounts are maintained and reconciled on a daily basis.
2.
Responsible for all monthly bank reconciliations and related documentation.
Maintain workpapers and supporting schedules to prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
Design, prepare and maintain various spreadsheets to support monthly journal entries.
3.
Process monthly billings for non-patient activity.
Manage collections, tracking and related accounting.
4.
Organize and execute payments necessary for debt and interest rate swap payments, investment management related expenses, legal and advisory fees.
Execute payments on a timely basis and manage debt payment and other payment deadlines.
5.
Serve as subject manner expert on initiatives related to cash collections, cash payments and credit card transactions.
Support review of existing services, seeking improvements and best practices, and review new service enhancements and alternatives.
6.
Maintain organization controls for all financial accounts and related outbound and inbound payments.
Ensure that cash is controlled, revenue recognized accurately and all transactions are received and recorded properly.
Educate all finance team members on fraud controls.
7.
Update, organize, and control bank and other financial account documentation for services.
Ensure signatory controls are maintained as per policy.
8.
Manage unclaimed property function and execute related payments and collections.
9.
Prepare workpapers, confirmations, and business process flows to support outside and internal audits.
Prepare Treasury-related financial statement tables and footnotes.
10.
Analyze, control and monitor bank and investment account service charges, merchant credit card fees, investment management fees and other treasury legal and advisory costs.
11.
Partner with all departments that participate in collections and payments.
Maintain controls (banking and signatory) for transactions that occur outside of treasury.

accounts payable, back office revenue cycle, cashiers, cash registers users, petty cash users).
12.
Produce analysis and reporting to support Treasury and Finance management.
13.
Work with senior leadership and others on project teams, as a team member or project lead.
Education and Learning: REQUIRED Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, economics or related field Work Experience: REQUIRED 3 to 4 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field License and Certifications: N/A OSHA Category: Category 3 - Employees in this job title have no reasonably anticipated risk of occupational exposure to blood and/or other potentially infectious materials.
