* The Plastics Administration Specialist will perform a variety of duties related to the Credit Union’s credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, pre-paid cards and the Automated Teller Machines for all offices.
Will also assist Management with maintenance and functionality of all aspects of the Plastics Department within the policies and procedures of the Westby Co-op Credit Union.
*Principal Duties and Responsibilities:* _*Cards and ATM Responsibilities*_ * Assist with ordering all cards for the credit union.
* Perform debit and credit card maintenance, including address changes, refunding late fees, reversing of payments, travel alerts, and other necessary items.
* Research & resolve member inquiries regarding account statements & monetary adjustments * Stay abreast of all new rules, regulations or changes to the card programs we offer.
* Assist members with Card and ATM disputes and chargebacks.
Compile information for insurance if disputes are not resolved.
* Review all fraud alerts.
Reissue lost, stolen, and fraudulent cards.
* Assist members and/or frontline staff with completion of fraud investigations.
* Assist in response to mass card compromises and data breaches to ensure handling is done in a timely manner.
* Balancing of all card products to general ledger accounts on a daily basis.
* Assist with ordering supplies for all card products and ATM machines.
Distribute to all offices as needed.
* Assist with the Verified by Visa and Verafin programs.
* Maintain automated Teller Machines and responsible for “AMS” system for all ATMs.
* Analyze and review all reports relating to our card products and services.
* Process ATM deposit adjustments and handle all ATM mandated updates * Assist the Marketing department and Plastics Administration Manager on any promotions or new services.
* Assist members with online access for cards.
* Balance all cash advance terminals – daily.
_*Other Responsibilities:*_ * Refer member business accounts for the ability to accept cards at their business to a third party for card acceptance.
* Responsible for cash advance terminals and supplies at all offices.
* Other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position.

*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:* _*Education/Experience Requirements*_*:* * Three to five years experience working in a financial institution preferred.
* Experience working with plastics (card department) preferred.
_*Skills and Abilities*_*:* * Excellent communications skills and proven effectiveness when working with members and staff.
Also work in a courteous, respectful and efficient manner.
Ability to remain calm and tactful when addressing touchy situations with employees and members * Skillful listening, comprehension, and speaking ability to quickly decipher the needs of members and relate the pertinent information requested.
* Proficient operation of a variety of general office equipment such as PC, software applications, typewriter, copier, calculator, telephone, copy machine, fax machine and other similar devices or programs related to the position.
* Ability to present ideas, report facts and other information clearly and concisely.
* Comprehend consequences of various situations and refer them to the appropriate staff for resolution.
* Manage personal work flow, incoming calls, process transactions correctly and meet deadlines by being organized, detailed and task-oriented.
* Ability to meet attendance standards and work overtime or early hours as requested and approved.
* Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately along with any other mathematical necessity.
* Ability to understand and follow safety/security practices.
