City Brewing Company, a leading contract manufacturer in the beverage industry, has an immediate opening for an EHS Administrator at our La Crosse, WI facility.
This full time, entry-level position works with the EHS & Security Manager in protecting people, the environment, and equipment from unnecessary harm and assists in regulatory compliance responsibilities.
Proactively promotes the protection of human health, facilities, food safety, security, and work environment by maintaining regulatory OSHA and EPA compliance.
This position serves as a professional resource for all employees while providing support services for environmental, health, safety, and security functions.
*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* · Assist EHS & Security Manager with maintaining all applicable OSHA mandated Programs and Standards in master policy manual.
· Act on or assist employees with general concerns by making recommendations to appropriate personnel.
· Enter training records into tracking software, run training reports, schedule training sessions, participate in new employee training.
Coordinate, perform, and track contractor trainings.
· Assist Environmental Engineer with record keeping and reporting.
· Keep inventory of safety equipment and assist in quoting and purchase requests.
· Assist in creating a new equipment review process.
· Audit environmental supplies for adequate levels.
· Assist Safety Manager with department safety checklists and inspections.
· Perform Job Safety Assessments and Job Hazard Analyses.
· Develop and maintain safety job boards.
· Complete job site safety audits to recognize and correct unsafe conditions and behaviors.
· Assist with and complete environmental inspections and audits.
· Participate in Safety Team meetings and activities.
*Qualifications:* * BS degree in EHS, Occupational Safety or related field preferred, but not required.
Will consider relevant experience and/ or and certifications.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal compliance standards preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience providing administrative support.
* Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including SharePoint, Teams), Asana (preferred), and Acadia (preferred).
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $26.
