*Loan Administrative Assistant* *DEPT.
/LOCATION:* *REPORTS TO: * Commercial Lending Manager *CLASSIFICATION: *Non-Exempt/Full-Time *Position Summary: *Performs a variety of routine duties in support of the Lending Department.
Provides administrative support to the Executive Loan Committee.
*Duties and Responsibilities:* 1.
Performs functions supporting the origination and servicing of consumer and commercial loans.
2.
Processes routine transactions including loan origination, loan disbursements, wires, loan payments, advances and loan account reconciliations.
Addresses inquiries, researches and resolves issues.
3.
Performs loan document reviews, ensuring paperwork submitted is complete and accurate; verifies that all inconsistencies are resolved.
4.
Assists with completing various loan reports.
5.
Assist in maintaining loan file records.
6.
Assist with updating and maintain financial statement, cash flow and tax return documentation in loan files; monitor the financial statement tickler report and follow-up on exceptions.
7.
Provides exceptional customer service via telephone and electronic communications to both internal and external customers.
8.
Maintains confidentiality of bank records and customer information.
9.
Relies on instructions and pre-established policies and procedures to perform the functions of the position.
10.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
*Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* 1.
High School Degree or equivalent, Associate’s Degree in Finance or related field is preferred.
*Position Requirements:* 1.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
2.
Excellent communication skills.
3.
Strong organizational and computer skills.
4.
Excellent attention to detail.
5.
1-3 years related banking or related experience.
*Work Environment/Physical Demands:* Work is performed largely in an office environment, during normal business hours.
Deadline pressure is an integral part of the job.
Regular mental and visual concentration for computer usage and reading complex and technical compliance information is required.
Position will alternate between walking, sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds of office supplies and/or documents throughout work shift.
