Provide mental health assessment, counseling and/or referrals for mental health services as appropriate to patient needs.
Provide direction for Unity staff for House function and program components.
Manage the caseload of Intensive Residential Treatment and Residential Treatment patients.
Provide assessment, diagnosis, individualized treatment planning and high quality, cost-effective psychotherapy and related services to patients with Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drug Addiction (AODA) problems.
Major Responsibilities: 1.
Performs diagnostic dependency and mental health assessments, treatment planning, individual counseling, and coordination of care for patients.

Provides group therapy for in-house programming.
3.
Attends weekly multidisciplinary Unity staffing, monthly AODA section meeting, and any other necessary staffing or meetings.

Provides assistance in coordinating Care Conferences when indicated, including county staffings.

Develops a discharge plan with patients and facilitates any necessary referrals.
5.
Assists with marketing Residential Programs to current and potential referral sources.
6.
Works as a team member with Unity staff/intensive services programs, keeps all shifts aware of issues/progress in residents' treatment, attends AM/PM shift change staffings, facilitates crisis intervention with residents, may provide coverage for Men's/Women's program as necessary.
7.
Acts as a resource for Residential Treatment Specialist when needed evenings, nights, weekends, etc.
8.
Assists with client transportation when needed.
9.
Performs other job-related responsibilities within the scope of practice.
10.
Reports to Unity House Clinical Manager.
Receives clinical and administrative direction, management, and supervision through the team of the Medical Direction of the Section, Clinical Manager of Addiction Services, and Unity House Clinical Manager.
Education and Learning: REQUIRED Master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy or other mental health discipline from a program based on a clinical curriculum that meets State of Wisconsin Licensure and Provider Status Approval requirements Work Experience: REQUIRED 3-4 years experience in the addictions field.
DESIRED 3-4 years experience in the addictions field with a minimum of 3,000 hours of supervised post graduate mental health treatment of populations to be served.
License and Certifications: REQUIRED Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) or Wisconsin Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Age Specific Population Served: Adolescent (13 - 17 years) Adult (18 - 64 years) Geriatric (65 years & older) OSHA Category: Category I - All Employees in this job title have a reasonably anticipated risk of occupational exposure to blood and/or other potentially infectious materials.
