The ideal J1 Coordinator will play a crucial role in coordinating the J-1 Visa program for international students, facilitating cultural exchange experiences, and ensuring the smooth integration of participants into our campground community.
This position involves administrative tasks, logistical coordination, and providing support to J-1 Visa students throughout their seasonal employment.
This role will report to the General Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provides confidential administrative assistance to the Vice President.
Assists in the coordination, direction, and fulfillment of special projects.
Coordinates programs and support activities on behalf of the Vice president.
Enhances personal growth and professional development by participating in workshops and in-service meetings.
Managing and organizing documents.
Assisting with presentations.
Assist with preparing and distributing correspondence and memos.
Coordinate and communicate with outside vendors or contractors.
Assist Guest Relations Manager with social media messages.
Assist with purchasing and monitoring office supplies.
Using our review monitoring systems, watch for trends (good and bad) and bring those to the attention of the General Manager.
Help organize job fairs for the Camp Resort.
Help marketing organize any RV Shows the property will attend.
Ordering office supplies or assisting with merchandise.
Performs additional job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience working with J-1 Visa programs, international students, or cultural exchange programs highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Knowledge of U.
S.
Department of State regulations governing J-1 Visa programs preferred.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a positive and proactive attitude.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the seasonal nature of the position.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required, depending on job duties.

PHYSICAL DEMAND
Work is principally sedentary, but may involve some physical exertion such as kneeling, crouching, or lifting to obtain files and records, and eye strain from working with computers and other office equipment.
