Looking for an exciting job working with kids? The Winona Family YMCA is looking to hire Childcare Counselors for the Summer Childcare Program.
This position is seasonal, May through the end of August, with full time and part time hours available.
As a Counselor, staff will engage youth in a fun and active environment, arts and crafts, games and outdoor playtime, field trips, weekly swim, and more.
Counselors will facilitate programming with youth and ensure the highest level of safety at all times.
Hours are Monday-Friday between 7:00 am - 5:30 pm.
Candidates should be high energy, compassionate and patient with others, and demonstrate an ability to respond to safety concerns quickly and effectively.
The summer program is from June 10th - August 23rd Monday-Friday.
With training starting end of April/ May.
CPR and First Aid Certidication are required.
If you do not have it currently, we will get you certified before you start working,
