Summary
Little Feet & Helpful Hands Childcare and Preschool is looking to add fun-loving, reliable lead teachers to our team! We?re looking for experienced individuals who are able to work with all ages served at the center? 6 weeks to 6 years old.
We believe in learning through play and providing the children with fun experiences and lifelong friendships.
Duties
Complete and delegate the classroom schedule, shared classroom cleaning duties, diapering duties, and the overall flow of the classroom
Create weekly lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate for the children in your care
Communicate with parents via brightwheel app, including entering meals, diapers, and naps
Maintain professional and caring relationships with children and parents, being sure to use appropriate words and tone of voice at all times
Assist children in their daily needs, such as changing diapers and assisting in toileting, serving meals, and getting them down for a nap
Model proper behavior and redirect improper behavior by providing a better option
Supervise children and interact with them by playing with them, reading to them, dancing with them, etc.
Requirements
18 years or older
High school diploma/GED
Lead teacher certification? via degree or book studies
Nice To Haves
Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree in Early Childhood Education (not required, but it's a plus!)
