Part-Time Bakery Clerk

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Bakery Clerk to join our team.
As a Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining a clean and organized bakery department, and ensuring the availability of fresh bakery and hot deli products.

Responsibilities: - Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner - Provide product recommendations and answer customer inquiries - Package and label bakery and hot deli products according to established guidelines - Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery display cases, shelves, and work areas - Ensure the availability of fresh bakery products by monitoring stock levels and rotating products as needed - Follow proper sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment - Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking bakery supplies - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient bakery operations -Comfortable working with deep fryer, including cleaning of fryer or ability to become comfortable.
- Set up bakery products for the next day.
- Serve the hot deli counter.
- Replenish the hot deli counter when low.
- Ability to drop chicken for the hot deli.
- Pull dated product.
- Work with the manager to complete all the above tasks.
- Work with the Manager to complete cleaning and sanitizing of department.
Skills: - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to upsell bakery products to maximize sales opportunities - Knowledge of basic math for inventory management - Previous experience in the food industry or culinary field is preferred - Strong attention to detail for maintaining product quality and presentation - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude - Basic knowledge of bussing techniques to keep the bakery area clean and organized Join our team as a Bakery Clerk and enjoy the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing exceptional service to our valued customers.
