Kwik Trip’s Sweets Bakery is looking for individuals for a variety of seasonal positions.
Our state-of-the-art Sweets Bakery located in La Crosse, WI produces over 60 varieties of sweet good and bread products for approximately 800 retail stores.
Kwik Trip customers are able to enjoy everything from mouth-watering muffins, turnovers, bagels, cookies, to our famous Glazers.
Join our Bakery production crew where you will be trained in production or sanitation:
Production: operate the various pieces of bakery equipment used to make our products & package finished products
Sanitation: Disassemble and assemble industrial bakery equipment, complete cleaning and sanitizing of industrial bakery equipment, properly dispense, concentrate and titrate chemicals, operate trash compactors, work on ladders and scissor lifts, complete general cleaning and sanitizing of the bakery area and all other duties as assigned
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
These positions will be available from May through August (some starting as early as April).
Starting Rate of Pay is $18.
00 per hour.
Weekend Premium Pay: additional $3.
00 an hour between the hours of 7:30pm Friday and 5:00am Monday.
Overnight Premium Pay: additional $2.
00 an hour.
Available schedules include:
AM Glazers: Sunday through Saturday, rotating days off, working 4:45am to 2:45pm
AM N.
E.
Sweet: Sunday through Saturday, rotating days off, working 4:30am to 2:30pm
PM Dunkers: Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays working 2:30pm to 10:30pm
PM N.
E.
Sweet: Monday through Friday working 2:15pm to 10:15pm
PM Sanitation: Monday through Friday working 3:00pm to 11:00pm
Overnight Sanitation:
Sunday through Saturday with rotating days off working 6:30pm to 4:30am
Sunday through Thursday and every other Saturday (overtime) working 8:00pm to 4:00am
Monday through Friday and every other Saturday (overtime) working 8:00pm to 4:00am
Monday through Friday working 7:00pm to 3:00am
Additional schedules may become available.
Qualifications: Accurate/detail orientated; ability to work in a fast paced production environment; basic math aptitude; work well alone/as part of team; willing to learn/perform a variety of job tasks; work in a noisy environment frequently; work in a safety conscious environment; adhere to sanitation/hygiene standards.
Prior production and/or baking experience is a plus but not required.
Physical qualifications: stand/walk up to 10 hours per shift; bend/reach/twist constantly; lift/carry 50 pounds to 60 inches frequently; work in temperatures of 70-90+; kneel/squat occasionally; push/pull up to 87 pounds of force occasionally; lift/carry 15 pounds to 72 inches occasionally.
