Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate with vendors for replenishment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial management is required
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping practices, including floor care and industrial cleaning techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, guests, and management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and regulations
