Summary of Role
The Distribution Center Sanitation Specialist will work independently to ensure quality cleaning, and sanitation at the Cashton Distribution Center.
This role will ensure that quality assurance paperwork is completed as it relates to cleanliness.
This is a safety sensitive position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work set schedule with flexibility to be assigned to other shifts Complete tasks assigned on the Sanitation chart Work collaboratively with quality assurance on audits Work to maintain goals for cleanliness as it relates to environmental testing Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies Cleaning duties include outside areas of the Distribution Center Additional Duties and Responsibilities Daily clean-up of assigned areas, both internal and external.
Assist Maintenance department as needed on various equipment, machinery and building operations support.
Collaborate with Custodial team on specific assigned duties, as necessary.
Attend and participate in any necessary warehouse and departmental meetings.
Organize Sanitation room in collaboration with immediate team members Other duties as assigned by supervisor Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities High school diploma or GED is required Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds regularly, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions; work effectively and maintain deadlines with limited or no direct supervision.
Basic computer skills; ability to log on to and enter information into application interface.
Basic math skills including arithmetic; ability to perform and interpret basic calculations related to measuring cleaning solutions in pre-determined ratios.
Understand and maintain safety requirements as required by the cooperative.
Strong work ethic with history of good attendance.
Must achieve and maintain forklift operator certificate, with ability to push/pull objects up to 2,500 pounds using material handling equipment.
Ability to be certified on work assistance vehicles including scissors lift and mobile boom lift.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver License Must be able to perform physical work in a variety of positions and at various heights includes bending, stooping, reaching and twisting of arms and body movement as well as walking and standing for extended periods of time.
Tolerate a variety of temperatures conditions from cold to very warm.
Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Procedures.
Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
Capacity for stress in service-oriented environment, with responses based on critical thinking to make effective decisions in known conditions.
Base salary range: $15.
00 - $18.
85 The typical hourly wage for a new hire is $18.
00 exclusive of fringe benefits.
This position also receives a $1.
00 per hour shift premium between the hours of 6pm and 6am.
If you are hired at CROPP, your final base hourly wage compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
