Job Description
Do you have an eye for detail and cleanliness and enjoy being around people? If so, the Y is looking for you! This is a full-time position at Dahl (La Crosse) YMCA.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Responsibilities:
Perform housekeeping duties as assigned to ensure the cleanliness of the facility, including areas such as the lobby, locker rooms/bathrooms, wellness center, gymnasiums, gymnastics studio, etc.
Collect, wash, and dry towels used by members for cleaning exercise equipment.
Provide excellent service to all members, staff, and guests
Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, etc.
Requirements
Possess a positive attitude and good communication skills
Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours at a time
Ability to move tables and chairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to address and make solid decisions in emergency situations
Knowledge of operating cleaning equipment, cleaning & sanitation products
