Job Description:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain our data infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have experience in effective communication.
They will also be self-sufficient, resourceful, and eager to learn.
As a DevOps Engineer at Tactacam, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our AWS and Lambda-based stack.
Your expertise in AWS, Code Pipelines, GitHub Actions, JavaScript, and Shell scripting will be instrumental in driving our continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain robust AWS infrastructure to support Tactacam's services and applications.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and GitHub
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions to automate software deployments and ensure code quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the development workflow, from code commit to production deployment.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
Implement best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery in the AWS environment.
Automate routine tasks and processes through scripting using languages such as JavaScript and Shell.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our DevOps practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.
Strong expertise in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in scripting languages, including JavaScript and Shell, for automation and infrastructure as code.
Familiarity with serverless architecture, particularly AWS Lambda.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
