's Talent Operations (Human Resources) Department is growing! We are seeking a Training and Development Specialist to join our internal Leadership Development team.
In this role you will evaluate, design, develop, and deliver educational training and other related developmental resources to our dynamic teams of leaders and coworkers across various facets of the Kwik Trip, Inc.
enterprise.
You will also assist in identifying tools, tactics, and techniques the company can leverage to continuously evolve and improve to meet the career development needs of the nearly 40,000 individuals who are part of the Kwik Trip, Inc.
family.
This role is heavily engaged in ensuring our company culture is at the core of all we do.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Designing, developing, producing, and delivering new and/or updated training/development content and programs to meet identified and strategically aligned Organizational-wide learning development opportunities.
Conduct engaging training and developmental programs through various modalities including live classroom as well as multi-modality channel delivery
Create instructional training & development content and other related deliverables for a wide array of learners and roles
Analyze related data including survey results, enrollment, class schedules, topics, etc.
for utilization assessment and continual improvement of training and development programs
Stay up-to-date and act as an internal knowledge hub with relevant best practice tools, knowledge, research studies, brands, templates, documentation, engagement strategies, instructional design innovation, etc.
Develop strong, collaborative working relationships and partner closely with internal subject matter experts, trainers, and various internal technology partners
Work with supplemental learning platforms
Develop, track, and manage measurements and metrics related to engagement, outcomes, and other data-enabled activities to ensure and assess the ongoing success of programs
Other tasks as assigned, related to the success of Organizational/Leadership Development initiatives and programs
Creatively produce a variety of high-end and highly engaging materials, at times from ground up with limited support documentation to reference (requiring research)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and/or commensurate experience in the areas of Education, Training, Development, Communications, Instructional Design, Behavioral Analysis, Marketing, Psychology, IO Psychology, Organizational Development, or Business
Minimum of 4-6 years related experience, designing and delivery effective professional training and development for adult learners
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suites, Camtasia, and/or other digital training/graphic design platforms
Working knowledge of andragogy and various related adult learner methodologies
Effective and engaging public speaking and presentation skills
Working knowledge of adult learning models and other training methodology, as well as marketing concepts and learning styles to effective and engagingly deliver information
Attention to detail ensuring consistency, branding, and accurate information
Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to create, coordinate, communicate, track and complete multiple assignments in tandem
Ability to interact professionally at all levels of the Organization, communicate effectively across multiple internal industries, and negotiate effectively
Able to respond quickly and efficiently to shifting project priorities
Familiarity and experience with leading and participating in the project/product development lifecycle
Critical thinking skills and the ability to problem-assess and with a solutioning-mindset
Excellent communication skills and the understanding of the importance of transparency, confidentiality, information sharing, and collaboration, as situationally appropriate
The ability to prioritize and work independently, while simultaneously operating as part of a collaborative team with alignment to given strategic and tactical direction
This is an on-site position.
Candidates must live or relocate to the La Crosse, WI area.
Pay is dependent on experience.
