*Kwik Trip*’s Network Services Department has an opening for a Senior Network Infrastructure and Unified Communications Architect.
*What you’ll be doing…* As a Senior Network Infrastructure and Unified Communications Architect, you will be responsible for the design, evaluation, and recommendation of solutions that solve the business challenges for Kwik Trip’s data communication network.
You will also be responsible for network infrastructure lifecycle management.
The individual in this position will be considered a subject matter expert on our retail LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.
*Additional responsibilities Include:* · Evaluation and determination of proper technical procedures and documentation.
· Provide training for Network Infrastructure and IT coworkers.
· Provide 3rd-level troubleshooting for the Network Infrastructure team and other business units.
*You’ll need to have:* · Associate degree in Information Systems/Network Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 8 or more years of relevant network administration experience · Strong technical documentation skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to meet project and department deadlines in a fast-paced environment · Experience with LAN, WAN, and WLAN practices and procedures for identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of network issues · Understand best practices and procedures for configuration and performance tuning of routing, switching, and WLAN deployments · Understanding of Network Security best practices and procedures · Knowledge of best practices and procedures involving the use of protocol analyzers and network sniffing technologies · Knowledge and experience with advanced routing protocol *Even better if you have:* · Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Network Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Knowledge or experience in data center switching and routing.
· Knowledge or experience in software-defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN).
· Knowledge of wireless 4G/5G environments · Knowledge of unified communication platforms.
· Network and security certifications.
*Work Schedule: *Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
Weekend and non-business hours work may be required as needed.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $110,000.
