’s Store Engineering Department develops and maintains our nearly 800+ retail store locations in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.
We are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working and change orientated individual to financially analyze overall business data and information needs for Departments 797,378,370, and 368.
This data that is gathered is used to determine if existing processes and return on investment can be enhanced with new or improved technology or processes.
This individual will design, propose, and oversee implementation of appropriate solution strategies for new business initiatives.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Prepare, analyze and propose solutions for corrective actions and cost saving measures for department budgeting
Analyze spend and budget documents for multiple accounts
Audit of financial data to ensure accuracy of information and reports
Defining and refining of documentation standards for Store Engineering departments
Create and maintain documentation related business processes (i.
e.
inventory, procurement, contracts, payment requests, etc.
)
Qualifications:
Successful candidates should possess at least a 2 year degree with emphasis on data analytics, information technology, or statistics or possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in business analytics or financial analytics
Strong analytics and high level of detail
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Ability to adapt to change
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office products and database technologies (SQL)
Strong problem solving skills
Skill in creation and updating of spreadsheets used for reporting, budgeting, data mining and project planning
Knowledgeable in accounting principles and methods
Ability to discuss and present financial and technical issues to management and team members
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department directors, managers, co-workers and vendors
Knowledge of Maximo Systems, ViewPoint, MicroStrategy and SAP is preferred but not required
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
Weekend and non-business hours work may be required as needed.
