Viterbo University invites applications for a part-time InSTEP Grant Administrative Assistant.
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to Viterbo's InSTEP Grant project and its director.
This position is a part-time, non-exempt, administrative position, with limited benefits, and is grant funded until June 30, 2025.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support for InSTEP activities and events.
Formulate programs and brochures for grant activities and events scheduled throughout the year.
Assists the project director in maintaining budget information.
Designs and maintains databases and the InSTEP website as requested.
Works with the mail/copy/media center on InSTEP related mailings, posters, and advertisements.
Maintains/creates organizational systems for InSTEP documentation.
Assists in compiling data for grant reporting purposes.
Assists the program director and Practicum internship coordinator in planning and hosting of events.
Carry out other responsibilities as delegated or assigned.
General Requirements/Qualifications:
Associate degree required with a minimum of two years relevant office experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office suite (especially Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Publisher), manipulating spreadsheets, database management, filing, email distribution lists, and webpage management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Possesses a high level of detail.
Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
