Job Summary
The Software Engineering Intern is responsible for developing mobile, web and other applications on a project basis.
The software engineering intern will due full life cycle development including gathering requirements, iterative development, and documentation.
Projects will be all tied to City Brewery’s Digital Transformation to enable our customers and users easy use of technology for their roles.
You will work with a mentor for each project to ensure success with the technology and use cases.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop on-time and high-quality product delivery consisting of internal and external-facing web and mobile apps, packaged software and business processes.

Collaborate with other members of the digital and business teams to understand needs
Develop understanding of key business processes enabling process improvement
Open to coaching and mentoring
Ability to work independently and sometimes fast paced environment
Hours – Full time or part time
Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week flexible as a semester/summer internship
Part time 15-20 hours per week flexible in timing based on schedule
Competitive Compensation
Term: 3- 4 month assignment, can be mutually extended
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or Engineering
Strong technical, analytical, communication, and organizational skills
At least one course in, or equivalent knowledge of, the Java programming language
Ability to document work and work within a change control infrastructure
Exposure to the following:
Microsoft Tech Stack
Microsoft Power BI/ SSRS
Exposure to frontend web technologies (e.
g.
Angular, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS 2/3 – specific frameworks not as important as concepts)
