As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll play a crucial role in generating diverse technical drawings and digital models, actively participating in the design process.

Responsibilities: including, but not limited to the following.
• Perform engineering activities involving the design of new products, redesign of existing products and cost evaluation to meet strategic goals, and customer expectations.
• Ability to maintain design schedules while satisfying all required engineering standards.
• Collaborate with operations to design for manufacturability and provide accurate drawings.
• Support the documentation processes by providing documented product designs, tests and revisions incorporating creativity in design.
• Maintain knowledge of current product designs, document control procedures, revisions processes and engineering standards.
• Perform thorough checking of drawings and bill of materials maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Support sales with customer application activities by interacting with customers, periodic site visits, phone calls, and other types of personal contact.
• Provide technical information to be used for marketing and sales activities.
• Support sales efforts with engineering of products or systems to meet the needs of current and prospective customers.
• Support procurement in the development of component specifications in regard to vendor criteria.
• Review designs for mechanical integrity and conformance to ISO quality standards.
Qualifications: • Associate’s degree or CAD Drafting degree with a minimum of two years mechanical design experience.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, planning and prioritization ability.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Proficient in Auto Desk Inventor, or an equivalent, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects.
• Ability to understand product and organize information.
• Creative ability, to organize information and perform basic layout.
