In this role, you'll contribute to the development and implementation of clear, comprehensive, and precise working plans and detailed drawings.
These will be derived from rough sketches or detailed notes, catering to engineering or manufacturing needs and adhering to specified dimensions, utilizing computer software and specialized tools.
We're in search of a dynamic and driven individual to support our Engineering department across various tasks, including product and system design, testing, documentation, and reporting.

Responsibilities: Include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
• Perform basic product design modifications to meet project requirements and specifications.
• Utilize Autodesk Inventor design software to create accurate 3-D models of products.
• Develop basic detail and assembly drawings, ensuring clarity and adherence to engineering standards.
• Assist in the creation and modification of engineering drawings, models, and documentation using CAD software.
• Create manufacturing print packages, including detailed drawings and specifications for production.
• Conduct mechanical design calculations to validate design concepts and ensure functionality.
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of new products, prototypes, or systems and write reports to document the results under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Ability to work and communicate with personnel from various departments to coordinate the flow of information.
• Communicate engineering requirements effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Attending a two-year or four-year college with a Mechanical Design major or equivalent.
• Ability to demonstrate the knowledge of MRP systems; 3-D design software; Internet software; Manufacturing software; Auto Cad, Auto Desk Inventor and Microsoft Office a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment and be able to balance both team and individual responsibilities.
• Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness and timeliness in all design and documentation tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Provide support and assistance to co-workers as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Assist with Engineering projects, goals and deadlines, contributing to team success and project completion.
