The award-winning Country Inn & Suites, in the heart of Lacrosse, is seeking an energetic and detail oriented Part-time or Full-Time Front Desk Representative who is looking to be a part of our fun and dynamic front desk team.
The position entails running financial reports, balancing guest accounts, checking guests in/out, informing guests of local attractions/sights, resolving guest issues and concerns all while providing exceptional customer service.
The position requires working a variety of shifts, during the week and on weekends from either 11:00pm-7:00am (Night Auditor) and/or 3:00pm-11:00pm with some flexibility.
The rate of pay will be vary depending on a work experience.
In addition to checking guests in and out of our hotel, you provide exceptional service, answer questions about the area and our hotel both in person and over the phone and manage the overall experience for our guests from a warm welcome to fond farewell.
*Responsibilities:*
* Greeting and engaging all guests while taking personal action to accommodate their individual needs.
* Creates an unending energetic environment for our guests and team members.
* Reviews all guest reservations and plans their accommodation accordingly.
* Processes financial transactions and arranges special billing needs when necessary.
* Keeps current on activities, events, and meetings occurring throughout the hotel and in the local area.
* Manages all guest concerns or requests diligently and without hesitation.
* Communicates effectively with all hotel departments to guarantee a seamless guest experience.
* Prepares daily logs summarizing communications for management and other shifts.
* Responsible for answering and fielding all calls to the hotel, both internal and external.
* Maintains the confidentiality and respect of our Lacrosse business patrons.
* Takes action to assist Supervisors, Managers, and Executive Team Members with additional tasks whenever needed.

* Computer skills
* Experience in an Opera property management system is a benefit
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills

* Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situations
* Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
*Physical Requirements:*
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Ability to hear with 100% accuracy with correction
* Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an eight (8) hour shift
* Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist on an ongoing basis
