*Description: *
As a Front Desk Associate you are responsible for providing our guests with the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous and professional manner while assisting them with the check-in and check-out process and assisting with travel and/or activity arrangements.
*What will I be doing?*
Key responsibilities of a Front Desk include:
* Checking guests in and out of the hotel in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner
* Ensuring that special requests are noted and fulfilled
* Communicating with all departments regarding in house VIPs and any special requests/needs
* Promoting and selling special hotel programs, special rate packages, and upgrades when appropriate
* Informing guests of hotel services, features and room amenities
* Providing information and/or answering questions about local area attractions and things to do
* Assisting guests with travel and activity arrangements prior to their arrival
* Coordinating all guest requests for special arrangements or services in a courteous and efficient manner
* Answering the telephone in a professional manner and assisting guests with any questions, directions, etc.
* Managing and resolving all guest complaints and compliments in a professional and courteous manner
* Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events
* Closing and securing the property at the end of the business day
* Performing closing paperwork duties including, but not limited to, auditing all charges and postings, reconciling daily activity, and closing all accounts in preparation for the new business day
