Proksch Transit is a 40-year family run United States Postal Service (USPS) contractor moving mail between USPS distribution centers and local post offices in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
All routes are split shift, local, home-at-night routes.
*Full Time La Crosse, WI Driver Position:* * Schedule: * Position available for La Crosse – Fort McCoy, WI route.
* Route departs from the La Crosse, WI main postal distribution facility and delivers mail to the West Salem, Bangor, Rockland, Sparta, Cataract, and Fort McCoy post offices.
* Morning route delivery starts in La Crosse at 4:00 a.
m.
and ends in Fort McCoy at 7:25 a.
m.
Afternoon route pickup starts in Fort McCoy at 11:50 a.
m.
and ends in La Crosse at 3:15 p.
m.
* Rotating Monday morning early advance route approximately 1-2 Monday mornings per month starting at 12 a.
m.
in La Crosse and ending at 4 a.
m.
in La Crosse.
* Monday through Saturday work week with daily split shift schedule, approximately 34-39 hours per week.
* Compensation: * Competitive pay starting at $22.
23 per hour, approximately $49,010 annually, plus benefits.
* Benefit total $5.
11 per hour, approximately $9,200 annually.
* Available benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, 401k retirement, and cash options.
* Compensation includes a SIGN ON BONUS, referral bonuses, monthly safety bonuses, paid holidays, and two (2) weeks paid vacation after one year of service.
* Pay increase in 90 days and also with experience and employee longevity.
Must be 18 years of age.
Good driving record and work history required.
Must possess valid U.
S.
driver’s license (CDL or non-CDL).
Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
Ability to pass a federal background check for access to US Mail and authorization to work in the U.
S.
Ability to lift 50 pounds (occasionally).
