Viterbo University invites applications for a Finacial Aid Counselor for the Financial Aid Department.
The Finacial Aid Counselor is a full-time, 12-month, administrative position responsible for assisting the Director and Assistant Director in financial aid administration with primary emphasis/responsibility for the items indicated below.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides financial aid counseling and front-line customer service to current and prospective students, parents, and staff.
Supports all communications activities such as document tracking, missing information, and award letter generation.
Directs the Federal Work-Study program, including job placement and coordination with payroll services.
Serves as liaison to bachelor completion and/or graduate students.
Other financial aid or related duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director of Financial Aid.
General Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum two years of financial aid experience preferred
Strong analytical, communication, managerial, and technology skills
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
The employee is expected to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
