POSITION TITLE: School Psychologist/EMLSS Coordinator (215 Days)
POSITION FUNCTION: School psychologists are advocates for students’ well-being and developing systems that support the unique needs of each learner.
Psychologists use their advanced training in human development, school systems, data analysis, and mental health to help students excel in the school environment.
These professionals work to improve their students’ lives across a number of areas, including helping with academic performance, boosting social functioning, working to resolve behavioral problems, and supporting emotional health.
The School Psychologist/MLSS Coordinator provides psychological services and leadership for assigned school building(s) in the areas of special education and multi-leveled systems of support, in addition to diagnostic assessment, interpretation, coordination, and administration of IEP team process.
