8" Celestron NexStar SCT Telescope - $700 (Monona)

Located in Monona, but we’ll deliver for free within a reasonable distance.
Asking $700; less than half-price of new! We purchased 10 years ago from first owner, collimated, and has worked like a charm since.
Still finds as good as what these older scopes were capable of.
OT in great shape although we broke the laser dot finder off again (easy fix).
AC adapter included; batteries work, too.
Battery cover missing (but doesn't affect operation).
Two of the three tripod tightening screws no longer work, but the tripod still works with the help of a couple zip ties.

We’re selling because we’ve been using a refractor for a while now and would like to see this SCT in a good home.
This particular scope has made many public appearances including Marquette’s Driftless Area Wetlands Center’s Astronomy Nights.
