Looking for information.
Last year I bought 4 java green peafowl from a guy.
He said one had a bent toe but he thought it was from eating to many grasshoppers.
They were kept in an insulated, heated coop with heated roosts covered in indoor, outdoor carpet.
They were fed 20% game grower.
Early this spring their feet started to get deformed.
One vet thought it was genetic and another said it was inbreeding.
I paid $1200 for the 4 of them.
I had to put all 4 of them down as they could not walk on the deformed feet.
Has anyone seen anything like this?
