OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Paralegal, you will be responsible for facilitating and completing work and services performed by Fastenal's Legal Department.
This position will be based out of our corporate office located at 2001 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987.
This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Administering bankruptcy and collection activities
o Assisting with contract administration
o Overseeing and assisting with compliance initiatives
o Conducting legal research and utilizing independent legal sources
o Organizing and managing files, documents, and cases
o Operating legal software
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess or working towards a Paralegal degree/certification or related field of study
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Prior work experience as a Paralegal
