Paralegal/Legal Assistant

of La Crosse is looking for a skilled office assistant.
The successful candidate will be flexible and able to provide diverse assistance among various areas of law.
Prior office experience preferred.
The practice of law is an ever-evolving learning experience.

In this position, you will work closely with our attorneys to complete tasks including: - Word processing software applications - Answering phones and providing customer service - Compiling relevant information and other summaries - Communication with clients - Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, contracts - Organizing and managing documents - Aid attorneys with client preparation and research - Assisting with the preparation, filing and service of pleadings Skills: - Excellent written and oral communication skills and organizational skills - Strong writing skills with attention to detail - Extensive computer and database expertise including Word, Excel and Outlook - Ability to learn new software and incorporate that into daily tasks - Ability to prioritize workload and assignments Benefits: - 401(K) matching - Health Insurance - Dental/Vision Insurance - Flexible spending account or HSA - Paid time off Bosshard Parke Ltd.
