The Department of Corrections is currently recruiting to fill two remaining Regional PREA Compliance Manager (Program and Policy Analyst – Advanced) positions.

Position Summary This position is responsible for a wide range of investigative and program management duties related to DOC PREA ( Prison Rape Elimination Act ) compliance within their assigned region.
The position has authority to coordinate the PREA compliance efforts at the assigned facilities.
Specifically, this position coordinates and monitors facility-based compliance; provides technical assistance; reviews completed investigations; and leads policy development.
This position carries out tasks in relationship to the goals and timelines established by the agency, Corrections Security Chief, PREA Director, and respective appointing authorities.
The Wisconsin DOC has zero-tolerance for sexual abuse and sexual harassment in confinement settings.
The position works collaboratively with all organizational units within the DOC to prevent, detect, and respond to sexual violence of inmates and youth.
This position acts as a representative of the Department of Corrections Office of the Secretary in collaborating with internal and external partners and developing implementation strategies to comply with the US Department of Justice Final Rule and National PREA Standards.
Salary Information This position is in pay schedule and range 07-03 with a starting pay range of $32.
00 - $43.
46/hour .
Pay rates on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code.
A twelve-month probationary period is required.
This position offers the possibility of a hybrid in-office and remote work schedule based on operational needs.
This position may have some statewide travel and may need to occasionally work some flexible hours.

Qualifications Minimally qualified applicants will have experience: Conducting compliance monitoring, auditing or program evaluation.
Analyzing, developing, or writing policies and procedures.
Conducting or reviewing administrative or criminal investigations.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external partners.
In addition to the above, well qualified applicants will have: Experience implementing policy and procedure in a correctional setting.
Training and/or experience working with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) or sexual assault service providers.
Conducting or reviewing sexual abuse investigations.
