Responsible for supporting the contract process by preparing, drafting, and reviewing company contracts, including sales, purchases, and business partnerships.
Ensures compliance with legal requirements and maintains organized records.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1.
Gather all required information to build into a contract template to create contract.
2.
Work with Legal resources to mitigate risk by analyzing procurement requirements relating to bids, special provisions, pricing, internal approvals, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
3.
Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.
g.
payments and shipments)
4.
Build and maintain relationships with critical/key internal stakeholders.
5.
Gather all required information to build into a Request for Proposal (RFP) template to create an RFP by working with all critical/key stakeholders.
6.
Maintain accurate and complete contractual records and electronic contract system database.
7.
Perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with internal policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, customer requirements, and sound business judgment.
8.
Educate and train contract administration and supply chain concepts to internal staff.
Ensure compliance with all Supply Chain policies/procedures.
9.
Learn the ERP computer software in order to effectively and efficiently develop and execute purchase orders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or similar discipline.
Minimum of (1) year of relevant and demonstrated work experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills:
• Proven working knowledge on legal terms/conditions, rules and regulations
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels both internally and externally
• Ability to assimilate and analyze qualitative and quantitative data for making sound business recommendations and decisions
• Highly knowledgeable in supply chain concepts and trends.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships, both internal and external
• Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity
