seeks an individual to join our team as a Herd Management Solutions Warehouse and Distribution Coordinator.
This hourly, non-exempt position is at our Westby, WI facility and reports to the Director of Herd Management Solutions.
Specific duties and responsibilities of a Herd Management Solutions Warehouse and Distribution Coordinator include, but are not limited to, Serve as a positive representation of the Select Sires, Inc.
Mission: With the highest integrity, maximize the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of livestock producers who feed the world.
Coordinate product delivery routes, providing service and maximizing economics, including route stops, as well as coordinating the addition of direct-to-farm deliveries or product pick-ups daily.
Work with Herd Management Solutions Inventory and Order Coordinator (HMSIOC) to ensure safe inventory levels and schedule incoming shipments.
Oversee and verify incoming product shipments to ensure they are in salable condition and the correct quantity received.
Conduct a quarterly HMS Warehouse Inventory with the HMS Distribution Associate and HMS Inventory and Order Coordinator.
- Discrepancies to be resolved - Final adjustments are to be presented to the Director of HMS for approval - Inventory counts updated as necessary by HMSIOC Monitor manufacturing and expiration dates on products to avoid product loss due to dating; rotate products as needed Pick and pack shipments of outgoing product for delivery via route trucks, walk-in customers, UPS, FEXP, USPS, containers, and LTL.
, including completing all necessary documentation Shipping: - Stage outgoing delivery route truck products - Complete shipments for walk-in customers, UPS, FEXP, USPS, containers, and LTL Coordinate LTL and TL shipping arrangements and prepare required documentation (BOL) Work with Cowmanager® staff to manage inventory levels and pick/pack/ship process for all CowManager® accessories Stage delivery route product in a manner that accounts for delivery location maximizes space, and ensures that the product will arrive at the delivery destination in good condition.
Assist in preparation of the HMS expense budget and monitor expenses to ensure the efficiency of operations.
Oversee the maintenance of the warehouse facility and equipment Maintain detailed records of the delivery route truck fleet Deliver product via the route truck in the absence of HMS Distribution Associate Maintain proper inventory of packing supplies required to process UPS, FEXP, and U.

Mail Recommend improvements in handling and distribution of products Ensure and provide quality service to member coops and customers Develop a core understanding of both herd management and genetic product lines A Herd Management Solutions Warehouse and Distribution Coordinator's work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT.

Frequently required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, crouch, or crawl.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
