has an opportunity for an experienced Distribution Center Director.
This leader will be responsible for managing all Distribution Center operations in La Crosse, WI.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee the general day to day operations
Define and manage the strategic plans of the Distribution Center in the support of changing business needs
Develop and follow capital and operating budgets
Manage all Distribution Center personnel - including enforcing company policies, addressing performance issues, writing performance appraisals, and hiring and maintaining adequate staffing
Responsible for developing and sustaining strong working relationships with vendors, retail, and other Support Center departments.
Qualifications:
Five years of experience in Supply Chain Management, managing supervisors or related field.
Demonstrate high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Possess strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to develop and implement new ideas
Ability to lead, teach, and coach others through cooperation and teamwork;
Ability to provide coworkers with timely and professional job performance feedback;
Capability to exercise sound judgment within company guidelines
Ability to follow and enforce company policies;
Prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks;
Meet department deadlines;
Prepare, process, and analyze budgets/paperwork
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Ability to work in fast paced environment,
Demonstrate a safety conscious environment
Possess a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record;
Willingness to live within close proximity to La Crosse, WI is necessary.
Work Schedule: 50 hours or more per week, Monday through Friday, typically daytime hours.
This individual will also have on-call responsibilities.
It may be necessary at times to work alternate work schedules and additional hours.
