The Treasury Management Advisor is responsible for identifying, analyzing, selling, and supporting deposit related products and services to current and prospective clients, such as Cash Management, Automated Clearing House (ACH), Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) services, and Business Online Banking services.
Essential Functions: Business Development 70% Develop strategic sales plans to define target markets, strategic sales approaches and provide solutions Partners with lenders and others to target and build opportunities for Treasury Management solutions Executes strategic market based sales plans to target prospects and existing customers Achieves annual performance metrics for new business sales, call expectations, and retention of strategic client relationships Manages time effectively to balance new and existing relationships to meet goals Responsible for the achievement of new sales targets and portfolio revenue growth objectives Influences and enriches the sales process through industry trend analysis, product innovation, and consultative relationship reviews Builds brand awareness through networking and attendance at community events Monitoring and Compliance Requirements 20% Works in partnership with Electronic Banking and Deposit Operations areas to review, maintain and enhance Treasury Management policies and procedures Ensures adherence with federal and state regulations Follow regulatory requirements as it pertains to BSA/AML, Fair Lending and CRA Additional Duties and Responsibilities 10% Serves on bank committees as needed Represents Treasury Management in internal and external settings Other job related duties necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position Requirements: Work Relationships and Scope: Works regularly with clients and co-workers.
Occasional contact with trade/professional affiliations and federal/state regulatory agencies.
Works regularly with highly confidential business and client information.
Occasionally participates in bank events.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A minimum of a two-year degree in finance, business or equivalent required, four-year degree is recommended.
A minimum of three years treasury management experience required.
Demonstrates strategic sales knowledge selling to commercial clients, high level of Treasury Management product knowledge and innovation.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; computer function and typing skills; strong organization and follow-up skills; basic mathematical skills up to and including fractions; legible handwriting.
Must possess ability to deal effectively with time pressures and stress that can change hourly depending on level of client activity; effective problem solving and research skills.
Must have knowledge of credit and operational risk ability to quantify potential exposure and advise team.
Working Conditions: Work is performed largely in an office environment with minimal chance for personal injury.
Regular contact with clients and co-workers.
Occasional out-of-town and overnight business travel (air or auto) required for business and education.
Regular mental and visual concentration for computer usage required.
Regular use of telephone; frequent repetitive use of keyboard for approximately four hours per day.
Receive and provide detailed information through verbal and written communication.
Requires near, mid-range, and far vision.
Will alternate sitting, standing, and walking throughout work shift.
Bend, turn, lift and carry up to 20 pounds of documents and office supplies.
Climb stairs.
Hours of work are generally during regular business hours and average at least 40-45 hours a week.
There will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines, community events, security calls, and other concerns.
Equipment Used: Operates personal computer in a Windows environment for word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, internet, and other bank specific software.
Operates Jack Henry Experience / Synergy on the core system.
Utilizes a variety of office equipment including computer printer, ten-key calculator, fax, copy machine, and multi-line telephone.
