*Position Overview* The Café Manager reports to the Head of Operations and will hold a central role in the success of the café’s business operations.
As part of the leadership of the cafe, the Café Manager will work closely with the roastery staff, café staff, barista and kitchen leads to achieve the café’s goals.

Hire, onboard, review against our values.
* Minimum 3 shifts worked per week, cross trained to fill all positions.
* Manage schedule of all cafe employees in correspondence with budgeting and labor reporting.
* Handle all cafe communication, including emails, phone calls, and various online platforms.
* Oversee inventory, ordering and financial reporting against intentional par levels.
* Process payroll, approve time off, and champion staff benefit education.
* Subject matter expert in one or more fields; coffee, bakery, or prepared food.
Able to provide quality control feedback in all areas.
* Handling cash, dispersing tips, and organizing deposits.
* Coordinate Community Engagement events and participate in local organizations as needed.
* Property management including coordination of contractors and service providers.
