org/family-planning-clinic-director-winona/ SUMMARY Directs and coordinates operational activities of the Semcac Clinic by performing the following duties personally or through program staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned as required because of the ever-changing environment of the clinical setting.
Directs operation of the Semcac Clinic.
Assures quality assurance through record and chart reviews.
Assures Federal and State regulations are followed.
Provides follow-up on abnormal lab findings, as outlined in the Standards of Medical Practice, either directly or by delegating to appropriate staff.
Hires, trains, and reviews job performance on all staff.
Sets up clinic annual budget and monitors the budget SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises employees and/or volunteers in the Clinic.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred (not required) and 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
