Viterbo University is accepting applications for a Prospect Data Management and Gift Processing Coordinator.
This is a full-time, year-round, nonexempt position.
The Prospect Data Management and Gift Processing Coordinator provides support by utilizing the Blackbaud Raiser's Edge/NXT (Re7/NXT) donor database while executing and developing database queries and reports, spreadsheets for various communications, as well as data analysis and troubleshooting issues on behalf of the users.
This position will also conduct prospect research and provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, in alignment with Viterbo's mission and guiding principles.
Reports to: Senior Director for Donor Relations and Advancement Services
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Vice President of Advancement and Senior Director for Donor Relations and Advancement Services to produce campaign gift reports, dashboards, action reports, prospect reports, and mailing lists.
Research for prospective donors within Raiser's Edge utilizing prospect research platforms and data seeking techniques.
Research also to include new prospect opportunities.
Serve as lead when wealth screening efforts are conducted to assist campaign.
Provide operational support regarding portfolios hosted by Advancement staff, President, identified Cabinet members and Athletic Director.
Act as administrator of the Blackbaud-Raisers Edge software.
To include, but not limited to, maintaining user accounts, access and maintaining data input.
Process gifts to the University.
This to include gift entry to Raisers Edge, send all information to the Business Office and generate appropriate acknowledgement to accompany gift receipt.
Assist in developing queries based on current strategy for accurate lists, gift reports, and campaign planning.
Assist in daily maintenance and enhancement of all constituent records using Re7/NXT.
Maintain accuracy, integrity, and security of all data; performs imports and exports, and other data coding.
Contribute to goal setting and the refinement of processes and procedures.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Baccalaureate degree preferred, or three years of related experience.
Experience with the Raiser's Edge database or a comparable CRM system.
Ability to understand internal business processes, database management best practices, and how they relate to functionality within Raiser's Edge.
Experience using various technology and programs, including Microsoft Office and specialized computer software and applications.
Ability to be a creative thinker, and an excellent problem-solver to improve and maximize existing software.
High level of attention to detail, organizational, administrative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective time management with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
