*Position Overview:*
As the Golf Course General Manager, you'll have a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from managing the golf course to overseeing our bar, kitchen, and banquet operations.
Your role will ensure the club's growth, profitability, and reputation for excellence in all areas.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Operational Management:
* Oversee daily operations of the golf course, pro shop, clubhouse, bar, kitchen, banquet hall.
* Ensure that all areas, from the course to the kitchen, maintain impeccable standards.
* Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Financial & Budget Management:
* Work directly with ownership to develop operational budget and planning.
* Ensure efficient purchasing, inventory control, and comprehensive financial reporting across all departments.
Team Leadership:
* Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence in every role from grounds crew to bartender.
* Regularly evaluate performance and promote continuous professional growth.
* Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
Membership, Guest & Event Relations:
* Design and implement programs and promotions to boost membership, guest play, and event bookings.
* Address member, guest, and event host concerns with the utmost professionalism and efficiency.
* Forge strong relationships, ensuring high retention and satisfaction rates across all services.
Marketing & Promotions:
* Develop strategies to market our golfing, dining, and event-hosting services.
* Coordinate and promote tournaments, special events, and seasonal offerings.
Continuous Improvement:
* Stay abreast of industry trends, from golf to gastronomy.
* Regularly seek feedback, always striving to enhance our guest and member experience.
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years managerial experience, ideally in the golf, dining, or hospitality sectors.
* Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
* Proven skills in financial management and budgeting.
* Stellar interpersonal and communication aptitude.
* Flexibility to work outside standard hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in food & beverage operations and event management.
* In-depth knowledge of local market trends across golf, dining, and events.
