This position is based out of Jackson Correctional Institution (Black River Falls, Jackson County).

Position Summary This position is responsible for the overall administration and supervision of the Psychological Services Unit at the Jackson Correctional Institution (JCI).
As such, the Psychologist Supervisor is responsible for the development, administration, supervision and coordination of all psychological services programs within the facility.
This position supervises the Psychological Services Unit staff; develops staff development programs and provides training; provides direct services to persons in our care; provides consultation to institution administration and staff; administers the psychological services program to provide support services and ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines and program standards; and also manages an Affirmative Action Plan and Health and Safety program within assigned responsibility areas.
Salary Information This position is in pay schedule and range 81-02 with a starting base pay of $48.
87/hour to $55.
16/hour.
($101,649 - $114,732/year).
Candidates in possession of a Doctorate of Psychology (or equivalent) may be eligible for supplemental pay of an additional $6.
00 per hour.
Pay rates on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code.
A twelve-month probationary period is required.
This position allows occasional remote work but will normally be on site.
A two-year Career Executive trial period will be required, or for those with permanent status as a Career Executive, a twelve-month probationary period may be required instead.
