Position Objective
Support the Secondary Assembly Manager to coordinate production and ensure that products are assembled and packaged per customer specifications.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assign work, problem solve and give direction to designated team members.
Coordinate Team members to ensure the highest level of production efficiency and on time delivery of product.
Review production efficiency standards weekly with each Team member.
Assist the Secondary Department Manager with Team Member Performance Evaluation input.
Set up an individual machine or a group of machines and work in conjunction with other department personnel.
Assist Team Members with training on jobs, machine adjustments, lifting and moving production parts, keeping aisles open, cleaning machines, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
Adjust the machines to attain the production standards for each job.
Alert Manager of continuous improvement ideas and help with deployment and communication.
Interview and give a thorough description of job duties and a Plant tour for applicants of open positions on the Team members shift/Line.
Ensure that employees are following standard work instructions.
Monitor daily production, system operations, and report information to the Manager.
Clean and organize work area,
Meet all company and department goals for quality and production to ensure timely deliveries.
Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions
Employee is standing, walking and sitting throughout the day.
Employee is working without air conditioning in an area that can be extremely warm at times.
Employee must be able to lift 40 pounds and be able to move quickly and efficiently.

Good hand eye coordination, manual dexterity.
Computer competency
Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail.
Physically capable of lifting, pushing/pulling and moving objects up to 50 pounds routinely.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime as required.
Education and Training
At least eighteen years of age and either a high school diploma or GED.
Associate degree preferred.
A minimum of two years of related work experience at Deco or equivalent experience.
Mon - Friday
3pm - 11pm Mon - Thur
Noon - 8pm Friday
40 hours plus overtime as necessary
