Position Overview: The Redi-Mix Plant Manager is responsible to manage employees and production at a Redi-Mix Plant, in addition to the following safety and operational guidelines, checking for concrete quality and loading according to tickets, and maintaining courteous customer relations.
The Redi-Mix Plant Manager is a full-time position that requires overtime through peak season, reports to the Redi-Mix Regional Manager, and has supervisory responsibility.

work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours) Essential Duties and Functions: Batch concrete using manual and computerized systems, such as Alkon’s Spectrum, Command Batch software, and Sysdyne Troubleshoot problems in a dry batch concrete plant and with rear discharge mixers Process customer orders and determine yardage Schedule available trucks to meet the orders Communicate professionally with customers and can attract future business Have a basic knowledge of concrete finishing problems and their causes Train, motivate, and give direction and discipline to employees under their supervision Self-motivated and can solve problems as they arise Order and coordinate deliveries from our suppliers as well as internal inventory Utilize your working knowledge of various ACI tests Follow direction from management Promote a safe work environment while facilitating weekly management and safety meetings Balance profitability with business reinvestment Maintain and account for all equipment that is assigned to their plant Address employee grievances and issue discipline as necessary Responsible for office administrative duties including, but not limited to payroll, invoice approvals, ticketing, and managing inventory Position Requirements: Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test Up to one year of mechanical experience Class B CDL Experience with Microsoft Office tools High level of reasoning abilities (i.
