Position Summary The IT Manager’s role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT Department in alignment with the business objectives of the bank.
The IT Manager will plan, coordinate, direct and design IT-related activities of the bank, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT Department.
The IT Manager will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
The IT Manager will also define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Understands and completes job responsibilities in accordance with federal and state regulations.
Essential Job Functions Leads the IT Department’s operational and strategic planning including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
Manages, monitors, and maintains internal computer network systems; trouble-shoots network to diagnose system problems; identifies, locates, resolves, and repairs problems; installs and configures software and upgrades, file-sharing and domain security protocols for the Bank’s network equipment, PC’s, servers, printers, photocopiers, and software applications.
Performs on-site and remote technical support as required.
Manages and oversees the Bank’s Disaster Recovery process.
Facilitates managed services between the vendor and Bank employees.
Monitors and manages the Bank’s overall IT risk.
Performs annual IT risk assessment, as well as leading all audits and exams for the IT area.
Upholds the compliance requirements of all related state and federal regulations, including but not limited to; the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti Money Laundering, and FFIEC compliance.
Manages the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs (desktops and laptops), operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals and Office Automation equipment (printers and copiers).
Establishes and maintains good working relationships with Bank staff, management, and outside business contact.
Motivates department personnel.
Ensures Bank personnel are trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of information systems.
Develops business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.
Develops and implements all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, business continuity, standards, purchasing and service provision.
Equipment Used Utilizes a variety of office equipment including, but not limited to; computer, printers, copy/fax machines, and multi-line telephone system.
Working Conditions Work is performed largely in an office environment, during normal business hours and on call hours.
Deadline pressure is an integral part of the job.
Regular mental and visual concentration for computer usage and reading/assimilating complex and technical compliance information is required.
Position will alternate between walking, sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds of office supplies and/or documents throughout work shift.

Minimum Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology preferred or equivalent work experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Active directory, Microsoft server operating systems, and Microsoft Office 365.
Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail required.
Ability to work independently.
