This Leader, Contracting & Equipment Team will lead the Contracting & Equipment Business Operations Support team in providing business process and application support and will assist with process development/improvement and deployment for Trane North America.
Responsibilities include software application set-up, user acceptance testing, implementation, process support, troubleshooting application problems, developing user training/coaching and creating user instructions and support documentation for Equipment.
This role must understand processes & tools throughout the Equipment business, including: Trane Sales Tools, Job Center, FOE, Oracle R12, ComfortSite, webMethods, Fusion, PeopleSoft Financials, PeopleSoft Billing, Falcon, IDS, CRM, SQL, and other business stream related applications.
Core Job Responsibilities (others may be added): Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to associates.
This includes personnel administration and performance evaluation for direct reports.
Deliver performance reviews, lead goal setting and development planning for all direct reports.
Participate in hiring, training, assignment, and termination actions for direct reports.
Participate in program of educating and training business systems analysts to increase their subject matter expertise and skills.
Lead Support team members in the following activities: Deployment of processes and systems to new Trane sales office locations Providing customer service to field and internal customers on a daily basis Identification of application problems and providing resolutions in a timely manner Provide training, coaching, and documentation in support of Trane North America end users Assist with application requirements and lead user acceptance testing for application deployment process, including reports.
Work with Program Managers and Process Owners to continually develop process/system enhancements.
Work with other SBU’s and Corporate teams to establish best practices and implement management strategy.
Assist with application requirements and lead user acceptance testing as defined by Project Management Methodology.
Develop and maintain team performance metrics.
Monitor and measure team performance against service level agreements (SLAs).
Work on Trane North America project teams to further define business processes and systems.
Moderate overnight travel is required (<30%).
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science (or related discipline) and at least 5 years of work experience with business systems support is required.
- OR – Associate’s Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science and at least 7 years of work experience with business systems support is required.
Master’s in Business Administration is a plus.
Key Skills or Competencies: Experience communicating complex issues to various levels of stakeholders.
Strong understanding and experience of field sales office business and headquarters.
Knowledge of Equipment and Contracting revenue stream software configurations and systems integration details.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software applications and processes.
Ability to lead a team of 10 or more employees.
Ability to effectively communicate complex issues to various levels in an organization.
Working knowledge of LEAN Principles, including Six Sigma, 9 Step Problem Solving.
Experience with PDP project management and other PM tools preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
Must be able to work well and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment required.
